As others have pointed out, this unit is small. However, there is no downside to this downsizing. The LEDs are incredibly bright, and the smaller size makes this ultra-portable. The clear lens that wraps around the unit has a Fresnel lens style, which has the effect of both magnifying and creating greater visibility from varying angles for each LED. The light patterns and functions on this unit differ from the larger units, too. The top white LED can be used as a constant-on flashlight, as can the white LED on the face of the unit. The side mount LEDs have a center-out sweep pattern, as well as a directional sweep pattern. As with the larger Guardian Angels units, these are composed of incredibly strong plastics, with a powerful neodymium magnet base and rechargeable battery. The USB-C battery port is more conveniently located on the side, rather than under the base plate area as with the larger unit, and it has a watertight, hinged door for safety. These units kept the SOS pattern feature, activated by holding the brightness button down for several seconds, which is important. All in all, the features of this unit at this price point make it an easy purchase. Fantastic safety, utility and ruggedness at a great price.

I love the size on this item. At first I was worried it would be too small. That was not the case, you have to remember it is going to be and it was meant to be smaller than the regular guardian angel device. I also wouldn’t choose which is better, they both have their advantages. From using them, I have not found a single disadvantage. These lights are absolutely perfect. They are very HIGH quality items. I would recommend these to my friends who are in law enforcement or who are regular civilians.

I love the size! At first I was like “is this too small?”, but then after I used it I realized it was the perfect size. The whole point of it is to be smaller then the regular guardian angel device. I run a 5.11 Rush 24 backpack with the 5.11 MOAB 6 attached. Above the MOAB 6 I have a rip away condor EMT/First aid kit. I purchased the universal clip and attached it to the first aid kit which is at the top of my bag. The micro device is a PERCET fit for that position. I think you will be highly pleased with the cost, durability, and SAME perfect quality as previous devices have had.

I love how it fits anywhere I need it, I am in the lawn care/snow removal business and love how I can mount it right to my machine so I am more visible in the dark
