It’s a good fit, and allows the light to mount at multiple angles. You do have to push kind of hard to put it in the hard hat.

Installs easy and fast. Dropped my hard hat once, not on the mount and the weight of the unit broke the clip.
So magnet is strong as I have experienced on other mounts of theirs.

The guardian light is extremely durable the mount however made it to the garbage after one night. Probably made from different plastics it can’t take a hit like the light. On a positive note it does fit as intended.

This is a game changer for me on my new helmet I got I can swap between my helmet and my co worker when we need to. Love the design of it. My company does traffic Incident response on a very busy Interstate and a lot of time we are away from our truck putting cones out and having the light on my helmet helps with both a work light and a warning light

I bought a mini light and was so impressed with it I bought the larger one. I have both of them on my hard hat. I do traffic control as my main job. I also and a firefighter and use the mini on my gear for vehicle wrecks. these were the best investments I ever made. I recommend these to my fellow employees

I like this mount it fits my kask helmet only issue I have had I have cracked the bottom peice kinda upsetting but the customer service is great the got back with me within 2 hours and I got a gift card for a replacement. Very happy with guardian angel.

I recently purchased the Guardian Angel “Elite” with Red/Orange/White L.E.D.s. The “Hardhat Earmuff Mount” works exactly as advertised. It snaps into the pre-existing slot on the hardhat I have to wear for work. You will not lose/drop the G.A. device using this magnet mount. It would have to take a direct hit from a falling tree limb or similar direct contact to knock the device off of this mount. Having the lights up high on my hardhat also keeps them from affecting my vision.
I wear the G.A. on my hardhat when I am doing traffic control on non-divided State Highways, especially on blind corners and areas where motorists might be surprised to see me…even though they just drove past 5 large orange signs informing them of work ahead. Thumbs up 100% for the mount and the G.A. Elite, the L.E.D.s are clearly visible from a distance in afternoon sunshine on Max mode.

This is our preferred mounting option. Very convenient and stays in place up high for better visibility. We are power line utility workers and do a lot of our work on or near roads and highways. This has made our job safer.

Working in the utility industry means you are on the side of the road ALOT. Being on the side of the road mixed with darkness (because we never have to show up unless the weather is bad and conditions aren’t favorable) can be a bad combination. The GA devices used alongside the hardhat mount allow for a quick and easy mounting option that is always on you. Anytime we get out of the truck our hardhats go on. This device saves lives!

Unit was a very tight fit to my hard hat. Once I got it to clip in it’s a great fit with no wiggle room . Definitely no worries about it falling off or coming lose. Might be purchasing another one

This thing is great. Mounted my Elite to this for my hard hat along with the tether. Works perfectly. Great for using your light as a work light or warning light. I’m in the logging industry and visibility for myself and others is a must. If you wear a hard hat all day, I highly recommend buying this.
