This attaches perfect to the epaulets on both of my work uniforms. Allows me to have ample lightning in front and warning lights pointed straight back without twisting from side to side. Also great for my radio strap at the station to have 360 lighting. Solid ca=lamp and easily secured.

Best light on the market and great attachment for outer carriers or load bearing vests

I have been using the guardian angel for three years and absolutely love it! I work nights and do a lot of interdiction and narcotics work. This light lets me keep my hands free while working which is huge. I have always used the original magnet that came with it. However, my department recently changed to outer carriers and load bearing vests. With the load bearing vest there is a large should strap that makes the magnet come off easier than before. But like everything else with this product, guardian angel had a solution. I got this clip for the epaulette almost two weeks ago and it works perfectly. At this rate, I’m convinced they have truly thought of it all. If you are on the fence as to whether or not you should get this light, DO IT. It is a great investment that I think everyone in law enforcement should have.

this clip is small and fixed, it has a good grip and it holds very well where you place it with very little movement, it is very practical because you can stick it on the vest or anywhere that has a strap, it has a strong superior magnetism that protects that the light goes out easily.

My department started buying the officers GA and went ahead and bought 3 of them for a few of my buddy’s that I work with. They advised it’s better than the one the department bought.

An amazing addition to just using the magnets only.

This product is great in all aspects the magnet is super strong, but if you are in a foot case or having to hang upside down in an overturned vehicle trying to pull a victim out it could catch on something or come dislodged but it will take a lot with just the magnetic hold it has. But adding the snap clip will in sure it’s not coming off unless you lose your shrift completely. This will attach to other locations as well. I have also seen in the last where it has caught onto an object and the person’s body weight has broken the clip. But after calling GA and letting them know the issue they have replaced it at no cost. They have wonderful customer service something that is rarely seen in this day in age. One of the best attachments I have bought.

Very Sturdy and durable!

So a week of having the clip attachment for the Gaurdian Angel I got in a foot chase and ended up tackling and wrestling the suspect. During the altercation the guardian angel never once budged and stayed on the entire time while wrestling the suspect. Definitely recommend this to anyone having trouble keeping the guardian angel device on your shoulder.

I purchased this attachment for my uniform and this mount is a beast. It fits perfectly on my Epaulet. I put the light on the epaulet and the very first night it was put to the test. Well it’s happening to detain an unruly prisoner, this light in the mount held strong. It allows for rotation of the light for varying conditions as well. Great product! 5 stars. Strap and epaulette clip

This is the best mount if your putting it on your shoulder epaulets hands down, no question. Clip locks onto itself and the light magnets to the clip. I left the screws out and use the lanyard in case it falls off. It has never fallen off. I can remove it from my should in seconds and attach it to my jacket if needed. Really effortless but the extra security of the locking clip makes this the best mount for epaulets.

Great uniform mounting

This accessory is a must have for uniform tops and jackets with true shoulder epaulettes (but not so handy for the ones that are sewn down on the shirts). This holds the GA secure and it isn’t heavy so there is No sagging or shirt drooping, the uniform still looks crisp.

Had probably a Gen 1 model, solid construction but went to use it one day and the frame had snapped. Contacted Guardian Angel sent a Gen 2 replacement. Definitely more substantial, should be great for rugged use. Definitely glad with my purchase.
