I have been a police officer for 24 years, when we used the huge mag lights that we had to place under our arm while writing traffic citations. With these lights this is just one of the many pros, hands free just in case things go south. Excellent warning when away from the lights on our patrol vehicles. Definitely will be purchasing another one!

It’s a great we use this mount holds the Guardian Angel in place and it’s an added security. It also makes it look a lot nicer seems to slim it down.

Love the products at guardian angel. I’m a police officer and use the light all the time when in the dark. Use for hands free writing, and for removing stuff from the road. The bracket was redesigned and is way beefier and stronger. Love it. Haven’t had a problem with their stuff. Does it’s job and many buddies of mine have bought them because the see how useful they are.

This is a sturdy product that will hold your device in place. My only reason for the 4 star rating is it does not fit my epaulet on my traffic vest. Check your equipment to ensure it will fit before ordering.

The Strap/Epaulet mount is well worth the investment. The previous mount made me hesitant to use the GA device for fear of it falling off and losing it. However, not only does this mount include a very strong magnet and bracket that make the device much less likely to fall out, it also included two screws to hard mount the device to the mount if need be.
Even without the screws in place, I no longer have much of a fear of my GA device coming off and being lost.

Finally was able to secure light to outer carrier vest using this mount and the original strap that came with the junk mount that came with the light purchase.
Been in multiple uses since and the light hasn’t budged on my shoulder in one of them. (The original mount that came with product lasted about .01 seconds into the fight the first use I got in.)

I was very weary of using the clip that came with the light. I attached this clip to a belt loop on waist and help up great didnt have to worry about it falling off

This is the most secure attachment that can be clipped on your shoulder! While searching vehicles or running. It has not fallen like the past lights I use to have.

Had the older mount fitted onto the previous Elite which broke, but i soon discovered the new mount fitted the older Elite series models and its still able to utilise the charging port, the newer mount is undoubetdly stronger and has similiar hinge dimensions but with an much stronger single piece construction, which is highly unlikely to break but one issue i did have from the outset and this is no slate on the quality which is first class given the fine dimensions of the fixing screws, was that one single mounting screw was not fitting fully home,perhaps cross threaded by myself when clumsily fitting the item, so i fixed both mounting screws down tight with an strong thread bonding agent.

This is absolutely needed to keep the GA on a uniform top shoulder appellate. Really strong magnet, didn’t have to screw mine to it. Holds it perfectly and doesn’t slide. Wish you could get this instead of the one that comes with it.

I have had this product in the past and it has broken on me over time. You can tell the new design is more sturdy and they took out the weak gaps in the plastic. Magnet system seems stronger and better than previous models as well. Easy to use and install.

I got this mount to secure the device a little better. The mount that comes with it allows the device to spin around and even fall off. This mount allows the device to stay secured on the mount and the uniform.

Bought two of these. First one broke within seconds after opening the package when opening it to put on my vest. Second is good. Fiber material dosent seem durable enough for what we do.

I recently purchased the new strap and epaulet mount, because my old mount broke, at a point where the plastic is thinnest. The new mount solves this problem by being made of one solid piece. It is sturdier and more secure, as well. The original lasted a couple of years. I expect the new mount to last even longer.

I bought this because I was concerned about chasing people through the woods and fighting with suspects, I didn’t want my light to fall off. I expect my uniform will tear before this clip gives way. The included magnet is super strong, but for the small investment this protects against a loss just a little better than the magnet.

I am very pleased with this product. I have not had the opportunity to use it a lot as I have only had it a week but will come back with a better review at a later date. My partner has the GA and I watched him when we were helping the fire department on a fire and he was highly visible and it with stood the heat and smoke we were in. The GA stayed on his uniform and because I was so impressed with it, I bought myself one!
