I have had my Guardian Angel for almost a year now, I am not soft with my gear and this has exceeded my expectations. The old epaulet mount cracked but the device held up against everything I could put it through. I recently ordered the upgraded epaulet mount. It is so much more sturdy than the last one. I showed it to my co-workers who also use Guardian Angels and they were even impressed with the rigidity of the new epaulet mount. I can’t say enough good things about this device and the customer service alongside it!

Recently purchased this product after returning the previous generation because of the design flaws. Received the new product shortly after ordering it, and noticed a huge difference. Thr build is much more rugged and the ability to remove the rubber grip for mounting to thicker objects is a plus. The clip holds much better and has proved it valuability since mounting it. I added this mount to my fire helmet to hold a Micro series I wanted to use as a replacement for a Streamlight model. I have abandoned almost all of my Streamlight equipment and have been replacing with Guardian Angel lights as I can afford to. After mounting this to my helmet, I have better displacement of the light’s reach and using the rear of the light as a brighter taillight for safety is a huge positive for me.

After a long night working a DUI check point recently I dropped my duty vest on the kitchen table and heard a bad sound of something breaking. Very disappointed to see the mount broken on my Guardian Angel light. Called customer service the next day they took care of the issue quickly and sent me a new mount no charge even though my light is all most two years old. Not sure how this is better than first generation. Work nights on patrol used it for a few months then it broke. Was going to order another one but if it last only a few months what’s the point. Light is great but can’t use it.

Had this product for a few months, used a every night shift and in very short order the plastic of the clip broke. Perhaps it was just a bad batch but I was quite disappointed and there doesn’t seem to be any information on replacement. Worked fine until it broke.

This mount easily clips to your shoulder epaulette. It has one side slightly higher than the other so that the front work light is properly angled. The screws for mounting the light to it are almost entirely unnecessary as the magnet holds so well.

I see you have a “new generation” of epaulet clip. Other than the rubber grip, has the plastic been improved? I use my light occasionally (law enforcement work), and the plastic has broken. I’ve “crazy glue’d” it, not sure how long that will last. Before I buy a new one, I was curious if you have improved the plastic…
