Not sure if it would suit my needs. Broke while withn 2 minutes. The magnet popped out of its setting WITH the plastic it was glued to.

i am reserved in this to go with 5, and would like to update in several months to see if this falters or not. i doubt it will fail, but time is the only ability to tell at this point.
overall, however, great item, and i have used it since. i do not use the screws, nor will i do so, i think. magnet is super strong and that is one of the highlights of keeping the light in place. removing the light from the clip is easy enough with some tugging, but nothing to pull fabric with it. 🙂
this is a must use for uniforms. does what it supposed to do and with great ease.
why the 4 stars and not 5? i have clipped and un-clipped a few times now, and it seems the connection/locking area is giving way to a degree. meaning, the first few times of clipping in place, it was tight. with continued removing to a new shirt etc., it seems to have less tightness, although it still holds in place.
keep up the great work on the attachments and main product. winners!

I love this as an alternative to several strap options. Yes you can use the clip attachment instead, this is on the thick side so won’t work w Molle, unless the straps are farther apart and wide sections, but a single strap like in their photo using the back pack strap or epaulet should be just fine. I use mine to attach to my dog’s harness for search and rescue and it works amazingly and with high confidence.

I use this product for law enforcement purposes. The shoulder mount was what I needed and it did not disappoint. The position that this mount maintains is exactly how its supposed to me.
My device is always in the right position so people can see it when its activated 360 degrees and its close to my neck so it does not blind me when its activated at night.

I use an exterior tact vest with molles. I decided to use the epaulet on my shoulder and it works perfectly. It restricts movement of the Guardian Angel light. I’m working night shift now and one of my partners has one and he sold me on the product. I also watched the YouTube videos about its durability and water resistance. Perfect for traffic details and traffic stops. No more flashlights under my arm.

It does exactly what it needs to. The mount locks down tight and will not come undone. My only thought is to make it just a bit larger to accommodate larger or thicker straps.

Pros: This item is a much needed addition to the light itself. I recommend buying this item.
Cons: item is used for my ballistic vest strap, so the screw casters won’t line up, as this appears to be designed for straps oriented in the opposite direction
The clip broke, BUT, the company was AMAZING and super quick to OVERNIGHT a replacement to me!
Can’t ask for a better company for service.

I bought the clip mount for my first GA light, and absolutely love how many options it gives me.
I typically have the light attached to the shoulder strap on my Dragon Egg pack,band don’t have to worry about sliding around, falling off, etc.
I added some stickum to the two screws that mount the light to the clip for added security.
Overall, I recommend the clip mount over the magnet if you are going to have the light on a pack.
Simple to use, well built, stays in place.
