I can see how having this attachment on the light makes for extra support if the other attachments failed. Which I doubt that would ever happen.

I use this along with my belt clip just for the extra level of safety. I never had my magnet fail on me but if it did this accessory would definitely help keep my device from potentially breaking

This is great to connect to your device. I have this connected to my pants, vest, shirt or whatever else I can. It keep your device from falling. I live rural & if I drop it, there’s a chance it will end up on the side of a mountain- GOOD JOB GUARDIAN ANGEL

I use this for the Guardian light on the front of my kayak when I’m turning it on or off, to avoid dropping it in the lake or river, or the light gets bumped with a tree branch. Much needed accessory!

Read reviews online about hitting bumps and the Guardian Angel light “bouncing off”. Find this hard to believe after mounting the light on my bicycle. Have rode over 100 miles and have hit bumps, rode off road and light hasn’t budged. Bought the tether for just peace of mind. So far it hasn’t been needed as the magnets hold tight. Love my Guardian Angel light!!

This teacher is realy nice to have just to give you the comfort of knowing the device isn’t going anywhere no matter what you get yourself into. The magnets are supper strong to each other and that’s amazing, but that doesn’t mean that whatever its attached to wont fall off or something… I would definitely recommend it!

The magnets on the lights and mounts are some of the strongest I have come across in consumer products. Although for normal wear, I would say this is not needed, if you get into a fight, its nice to know your not losing your light.

Great addition to a trustworthy device. I have complete confidence in the magnet on the Guardian Angel device but this gives me an extra sense of security for my device especially when mounted on my kayak. This is a great addition to a great device.

I just recently purchased another Guardian Angel Device, the Elite version with the infrared option, and it came with the tether device. The tether device is such a great addition to the epaulet holder that I use, in that it gives me peace of mind that I won’t lose the device as a result of any strenuous activity or something causing the device to come unattached from the epaulet attachment. I thoroughly enjoy using the Guardian Angel Device and have given one to my son and another to another officer. Thanks so much for the continued support and upgrading of the devices!

I received a Guardian Angel LE safety light as a gift and love it. I am Police Officer in the District of Columbia and I was worried that I would lose it at work. I went to the website and saw the tether for the light and ordered it. Love the functionality of the light and tether. I don’t have to worrying about it falling or getting knocked off. I used the light often while on bike patrol for visibility. it also helps to make myself visible when i need to be located quickly.

I believe this to be the most underrated accessory. You can attach it to your device & almost any else near or on the accessory for extra support, just in case it gets knocked off of the magnet it will still be attached to you Or whatever you had it hooked to. So you won’t lose your light
