I like this because it allows me to be universal in mounting from visor on patrol rig to chest rig to pack. I also use mine at night for hiking in and around complex fires for safety as well as to have helicopter resources to see me through dense smoke conditions.

So I bought a Guardian Angel (red/blue) light with IR on Amazon because it is sold out or on back order through GA. I bought the Universal Clip Mount for my outer vest carrier epaulet… Little did I know, the magnet that comes with the light is perfect for sliding under the shoulder part of the vest and the light mounts perfectly. So I haven’t needed to use the clip as if yet but I can tell it is of great quality and the magnet is great. But it is still in the original packing until needed as a back up. Oh and the original mount is curved as if it were purposely made for shoulder mounting.

This is a great universal mounting option you can just use the magnet to hold your light or you can screw your light to the holder. The universal clip makes it so you can put your gardian angle light any where quickly and not worry about it going any where tell you want it to.

I work outside a lot at nights for my job, the clip mount lets me mount my Guardian Angel on my hat for a bright light that is easily accessible and very bright!
