Every 5-10 years we see a piece of equipment emerge that we recognize needs to be added to the standard uniform of law enforcement officers nationwide because of its utility and clear impact on making officers more safe. 6 years ago it was the tourniquet – to help officers treat themselves or others in the event of a traumatic injury to an extremity. We believe the Guardian Angel Device is that next, new piece of equipment that all officers should be issued. The ability to see and be seen in low or no light conditions, while leaving their hands free to address threats or render aid, is a game changer. We are honored to work with Guardian Angel in order to increase the number of safety grants we are able to award featuring their product.
