I ordered this to test, the unit itself is extremely bright. It’s compact and lightweight. When positioned on your shoulder during traffic stops IT illuminates the entire interior of the vehicle leaving both hands free.
While on traffic accident scenes or other things of that nature it is an amazing tool to be able to be more visible while working in the roadway. The IR allows you to be located very easily by other officers using night vision.
The unit itself is extremely lightweight and intuitive to use. The controls are simple and easy and easily remembered.
The fact that it’s rechargeable is a perfect option and the battery seems to last through an entire shift at least.
I believe every department should be issuing these.

I use this light for LEO work. I have tested this light in NO light conditions along the interstate and had clear visibility for .5 mile! I am super excited to use this light on traffic stops as it gives me a piece of mind having my hands free and still able to use this light to help flood the are with light.

I absolutely love the product and I can see that in the future there will be great improvements to the already great product that you have. As I said in an email there should be single LEDs in the middle of the ends. I do believe that the LED should be slightly brighter on the warning end of it. The work lights are amazing. Hoping that in future lines you will have an all white feature including the red blue red red lights.

I work overnight shift (6p-6a) I wanted a nice red work light that doesn’t illuminate the entirety of my cab during traffic stops for safety purposes and outside during calls that doesn’t broadcast my location. I have used the work light function as well for searching vehicles, traffic accidents and day to day calls and tasks while on duty. I have not used any of the emergency light functions on duty yet but they are very bright and noticeable. I wanted this function to be able to signal my location due to me working as the only officer, if another agency comes to assist and I chased someone on foot they will be able to spot me if we’re away from roadways etc…

I am a 20 year veteran of law-enforcement and have used a ton of different lights over my career. I am extremely happy and pleased with this purchase so far. The mounting options for whatever purpose you will use the light for are available. The ability to have your hands-free during searches makes doing the job a little easier. The fact that the light has built into it and IR device as well as forward and rear colored strobes for safety just make it one of the more versatile lights on the market.

Thanks for the review Scott! On the Infrared Hybrid models, we use an 850 nanometer LED on the top, which can be very faintly seen with the naked when on the High or Max settings. This would be the only way to tell if the IR on the top is on by itself. You can always double tap the GA button to ensure all LEDs are powered off as well. I use this for my job and for personal use. The flashlight makes it easy to do paperwork by keeping both hands free. The led strobes are very bright and are a definite attention getter. The IR light was tested with night vision goggles at a distance of about 4 miles and was clearly seen. I highly recommend this for a standard part of anyone’s safety equipment.

I absolutely love this device I use it every shift. Bring on night shift and not having a back light on my keyboard the red front light feature comes in handy. If I’m writing something down I can use the white and not have to hold a flashlight as the lights are extremely bright. The flashing red and blue are seen from so far away and very helpful so you can be seen by others. I love this device and recommend it to anyone no matter what your profession or hobby may be.
