INDOT recently launched its new campaign with one goal: Keep workers safe when working near traffic. Using all-green Elite Series™ lights, INDOT is improving visibility for crews throughout Indiana.
Why Green?

The human eye is up to 300% more sensitive to green light than other colors, depending on conditions and the time of day. That means it stands out in a sea of white, amber and red, all common colors in work zones.
INDOT not only understood this fact, but took the initiative to help its crews stand out in a sea of white, amber and red lights common in roadside construction. The message to drivers: See green, slow down and move over because humans are working in the area.
