I work on the roads and highways this makes it very hard for someone to say they don’t see you. Fits perfectly in a cone I use my guardian angel every time I’m on the road day or night

    Great option for Traffic Cones

    Jonathan Diaz (verified owner)

Sadly, there aren’t many options out there for traffic cone toppers. However, I prefer GA’s design over the cap versions out there. Due to it’s design, its more difficult to lose, holds the LED Flare more securely, and its still very durable considering it’s mostly plastic construction. I have been putting safety flare packages together for our crews and these are my choice for toppers. Great product!

    Quick flare stand

    Derek B (verified owner)

I bought this as a quick flare stand for when my car is disabled, not realizing that it is intended to be use in the top of a road cone. Still, it’s compact and should be used as planned. Magnet is very strong.

Great tool to add an additional level of safety

    James (verified owner)

The motoring public has become unaware of stand alone traffic cones. The reason for this is you can drive three miles in any direction and count at least ten orange traffic cones being used for just about everything except their intended use.

People use them to mark their driveway so they can see to turn in at night, to sit on top of an object in the yard, for birthday party markers, etc. etc. etc.

Due to this misuse, practally no one pays attention to the cones in traffic and as I said before, has become totally unaware that they have any actual meaning.

I work as an accident investigator (day shift) and use traffic cones in combination with the light on my vehicle to try and divert traffic away from the accident scene and also away from myself when trying to open the vehicle door. (Very Dangerous Situation). Even with the “Move over Law” motorist still ignore the warning signs.

I have been looking for a way to make the cones more visible. Low and Behold I found this. It absolutely is a perfect design, easy to install, fits any of the different size cones I use, and makes attaching the light to the top of the cone a snap.

Properly placed with the light attached honestly works to get people to move over or at least slow down.

I have also found that this can be used in combination with the alligator clip for a quick and easy sign holder. Install the cone mount and sit the clip on top. The magnets are extremely powerful and will definitely hold.

    Flexible to Fit Any Cone

    Shane Booker (verified owner)

Traffic cones are everywhere, but after 20 years in public safety, I have seen people frequently hit cones. I saw the traffic cone mount but was skeptical and almost did not buy it. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the traffic cone mount. The plastic is perfect! It is stiff enough to stay in place but flexible enough to fit and traffic cone. I have even used it on some of my pop-up cones. I highly recommend the traffic cone mount if you frequently use cones or have them in your vehicle. It could save your life!

Magnet is STRONG on this mount. No chance of losing unit. Unit mounted and jet blast moving cone…no worries!

The magnet pulls out, bad design

    Matt

I have had the magnet in this attachment stay connected when I try to take the light and attachment apart. I called and was given a replacement unit which was great till the 2 nd one did the same thing. So frustrating the design needs to change. A thin ring of plastic doesn’t hold these powerful magnets from wanting to stay together. When I go to pull the light off the cone the magnet for the attachment comes with it. I am going to work on a video to send to the company. The 2 nd one broke first time I deployed it.

Thank you for your purchase and review Matt. Honestly this is the first time we’ve heard this feedback on this mount, but we will certainly look into it further. Thanks again for bringing this to our attention.

    Awesome idea

    Matthew Rian (verified owner)

I love this idea! I am able to deploy a cone, put this mount in and set my light on it to setup an Incident command for a scene. People on scene can easily spot it day or night! Great job!

    Best mount

    Aaron Ramsey (verified owner)

I purchased this mount to keep in certain situations. I went out and purchased a traffic cone and keep both in my vehicle for certain situations that may arise. This mount gives you another option instead of mounting to vehicle.

    Very secure mount

    DANIEL CRALL (verified owner)

I attached this to a traffic cone and it was a very secure mount. It could be pulled off with some force and moved to another cone. Installation took about 15 seconds and securely holds the light until removed.

    Holds the Guardian well

    Mike (verified owner)

It fits well and really holds the warning light. I just didn’t like that it was so loose in the cone and since it was not going to be removed I screwed it tight to the cone, much happier now and really like it.
