Whether you are law enforcement or not, this item is essential anytime you are on foot. As law enforcement, the red/blue was a comforting tool directing traffic when a car cannot be present on point. The various options for lighting front and back are the answer to any need. I see hikers and runners needing the other light combos as a irreplaceable tool for safety.

This devices are a great tool for any LEO! Honestly, I thought these were a stupid gimmick at first. Seeing a couple guys with them and seeing them on traffic stops I realized I had to get this piece of kit. From traffic stops, vehicle searches, or running SFSTs being hands free is crucial for officer safety. I’ve bought three of these for myself and other officers.

I have bought three of these so far. This guardian elite is extremely bright and visible from a great distance. It is so important to be visible to avoid getting hit by distracted drivers these days. To have this strapped to my shoulder helps with rapid activation for searching cars and walking through ditches. To have both hands free is the best thing when doing first aid. I highly recommend the upgraded shoulder mount, it is so much stronger than first model. The magnet helps with putting it on a disabled vehicle trunk or tailgate to get people’s attention as well to avoid secondary accidents. I never do a shift without it day or night.

I’m not going to lie, I was skeptical if I’d really use this. Let me tell you…it’s AWESOME! First, the lights are so bright. The quality is top notch. I’m a police officer, and the feature I find myself using most is the flashlight feature. It’s helps at night to be able to read documents on traffic stops, etc. The red light also helps to not blind me or others during low light scenarios. The flashing lights also help to warn motorists of my presence on busy roads. Lastly, the magnet is insanely strong. I was worried it might come off my shoulder during movement. Nope! Solid as a rock. Plain and simple, if you’re on the fence of whether or not to get a Guardian Angel, let me help you… DO IT!!!

This was my third device purchase and I’ll continue to spend my money with a company who makes my safety a priority. The charging port being moved to the side could be convenient if you permanently mount this to something. It didn’t really make a big difference for me. The new functions are nice having the steady red night light on and off with one push. I mainly use this for hands free lighting approaching vehicles and writing paperwork. Lasts an entire 12-hour shift and then some. Invest in your safety, you won’t be disappointed.
