At first, I didn’t think I would like this. The lower LED count didn’t seem to be as effective. However, this little device has a secret in the multiple flash patterns.
Press the front or rear button and it goes on solid. Press a second time and you get a very noticeable inside-out flash pattern that I think catches attention far easier than a strobe without being exceptionally bright. Press a third time and you get a pattern that indicates motion. When placed on a cone, it’s like having an indicator telling you which side of the cone you should pass on. The front and rear both move to the same side, so you can easily turn it around to indicate the other side. We set this on a cone next to a running water source with the indicator showing the side that was safe to cross. Several people remarked that the indicator caught their attention to slow down and the motion made it clear which way to proceed.
Given the lower price point, these are ideal for traffic direction and similar uses.

As I work in the Traffic Control business, I was very familiar with your Guardian Angel Strobes. When I saw the Micro Angel, I knew that it would be perfect on my bicycle as I ride in traffic. To be visible to others is the key, and the Micro works well with the Bike accessory.

Everything about the micro is as great as the full size except I wish it had the screw mountable option like the full size. I use these on my dogs collars and they have to be permanently mounted or they get knocked off. That’s the only thing I would change, other than that it’s excellent as the rest of their products!!

The light works great. The light clips to you shirt with ease and has a nice bright light that is seen. Each time going out to take photos the light goes on for safety which means I never leave home with out it.
