I volunteer with a search and rescue group and one night when we were out (not on a mission) I realized how useful it could be to have a high-intensity strobe that people could see me and my group along the edge of the roadway…so I remembered seeing an ad and purchased it. I volunteer with a Search and Rescue (SAR) Team and our chief advised us he bought 5 of these for use as a team for call-outs. I wanted to look into the product a little more since we were only introduced to them on a zoom call. After reviewing on the guardianangel website, I thought it would be useful not only to have for my own SAR, but for hiking and biking. So I bought one for myself and my sister. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! The light is very durable, weather resistant and can be multifunctional for different uses with the various adapters. I have used it on my backpack, my bike, my helmet, and my Field Uniform. The light is very bright and can be used as a steady consistent light or a flashing strobe light. The lock function is great to prevent accidental on/off. I purchased the small which is perfect for outdoor use. I also carry in my pickup as a second safety strobe in case of roadside emergencies. The magnet is super strong. I highly recommend this light to anyone in Search And Rescue or Outdoor Recreation use. Great Job Guardian Angel Devices for a fabulous product!

I bought this one and the larger light, I couldn’t be more impressed with both. Side by side comparison they both are super bright and well worth buying. I guess the only difference in the two is the larger one has a longer lasting battery. Either way, you can’t go wrong with buying this one or the larger one. By the way, the size difference is really only like maybe half an inch.

This is my third GA unit and the only one in which I have had any trouble. I work in EMS and notice the other day at the start of my shift, that the case on this unit had cracked and split. Unsure as to why this happened, I contact GA via email and ask about this issue. The company rep requested some photo’s of the issue and a bit more information. Once those were submitted, they reviewed them and requested the unit be sent back to them for repair/replacement. Within days, I received an email saying they were shipping out a new unit to me as replacement. At no cost. The unit was just under a year old at the time. In this day and age, better than average customer service is a welcomed benefit. Thank you GA !

I already have a few guardian angels I use for work, but this one makes for a perfect backpacking essential. My hunting buddy and I use it to guide each other in on downed animals from cross canyon evening shots.it also works great when you’re trying to get to your hunting spot early in the morning with a super powerful magnet you don’t have to worry about it falling off and the super bright light lights the path without blinding people in front of you or behind you.
