I use this mount to attach the mini light as an emergency beacon light on my ballistic helmet. It works fantastic I just wish it was a bit more curved surface for better fit to the helmet with less ability to get snagged on something.

The mount is great for controlling the rotation of the light – without this, the light’s magnet is strong enough to hold it anywhere, but does nothing for orientation. The downside to this mount is the lack of accessibility to the screws if you want to mount it to the light – they’re buried underneath the velcro round. The only access after installing them is to notch out the round, which is not very convenient.
