Very compact, yet extremely powerful. Highest setting is almost too bright. The controls aren’t very intuitive at, so since I won’t be using this other than on an occasional basis, I will have to carry instructions with me in a little zip bag. 🙁 The magnet is extremely powerful, and with it mounted just underneath my kayak deck I can mount the light without fasteners through the deck.

The main reason for purchasing the Guardian Angel micro light is because it is USCG approved for night time navigating in my kayak. I also transport my kayak in the bed of my truck with the front extending out to the rear so I use the red only light on the kayak as illumination during night time hours when in transit to and from the lakes. Although I had a battery issue with the first light (would stay on for only 30 minutes), I contacted GA who immediately requested I return the light for testing. I received the repaired light within a few days, but haven’t been able to get back out to try the light. So far I am very impressed with the brightness of the LEDs, and the professionalism and quality of their customer service.

Bought myself an Elite unit a few months back. Great complement for my LEO duty gear, especially for night ops. Also bought a Micro unit for a fellow LEO and his canine. He has it mounted on the dog for the ultimate visibility. The light brilliance is very good.
