This mount works the best for me because it locks the GA into place on your epaulet and it also puts the front of the GA up at a higher angle from your shoulder. The helps to level out the GA and line up the front lights. The GA locks into place and stays forward. The mount does not let the GA spin. Really good mount.

Prior to purchasing this clip, I work in Fire EMS. On calls I would either have my GA nocked off by a hose or it was knocked off my Line pack for Wildland. This clip is a life save along with the GA!!!

I got the epaulet clip mount when I purchased my Guardian Angel unit. The clip fits well and holds the unit in the right spot so you do not have to worry about it flopping around or falling off. I truly like this mount for my uniform. It gives a strong grasp onto my epaulet and holds the Guardian Angel Light in place just great! Little to no movement and stays right in place so I don’t have to mess with my light or uniform all the time. Allows me to do my job and not have to focus on whether or not my equipment is going to hold up. I highly recommend this mount to anyone with an inner carrier, you won’t be disappointed.

I bought this clip to help secure my GA onto my duty vest while on duty as a police officer. I didn’t think I would need to screw it to the clip due to the magnet being strong, however, I had it fly off one day on a traffic stop when I took my seat belt off and had no idea it was even off until I was miles down the road, turns out it just flew into the backseat somehow but being able to secure it with screws (that come with) to this clip has prevented me from losing my GA. It also allows me to handle vehicles crashes, writing, etc. with ease since its attached to my shoulder and allows me to go hands free and have light without holding a flashlight.

Works fine for normal epaulets or thin straps but will not work with a leather firefighter radio strap.
