Something you do not know you need, UNTIL you do!

I had seen ads before about these, looked at them, but never bought. Then decided to buy two, one for my wife and the mini for me. Of all things, I got hit by a deer at night. Broadsided, on a country road very early in the morning. Grabbed my Angel, put it on the roof of my truck, and as luck would have it, an 18-wheeler and then a county trooper came up. They could see the flashes, we checked the area, but the deer was gone.
They both wanted to know about the light. Showed it to them and they said they would look-in getting one.
I have several more coming for my best friend and his wife.0

Great light for firefighter

I use this light as an on-call firefighter when on traffic collisions or other incidents where there is traffic. It is fantastic for making me visible to traffic, and the front-facing light is perfect for doing paperwork in the dark. Althought the exchange rate is not favourable to Canada, I feel it is worth it to me for the extra level of safety it provides. I bought this one for my daughter who just joined our department.

I’m a firefighter in a rural area in Northern Canada and in the winter is gets dark and cold. The battery holds up surprisingly well (recently used it continuously for over 4 hours in -36°C ).
It throws excellent light and excels as a hands free work light (especially in vehicles), the single red led work light is good for reading maps etc and the 3 led red light is great illumination when you are searching for something but don’t want to distract the driver.
USB c makes for quick charging and good compatibility with my existing devices.
Because it has a lanyard hole, a light, and a strong magnet, it was also pretty effective as a retrieval device when I dropped a pair of rather expensive pliers down a dark crevice.
I’ve also used it as a camping lantern as I can clip it anywhere on a tarp or tent with the magnetic clip. It is more compact and throws more light than a lot of comparable sized, purpose built, camping lamps. Plus I can use it as a headlamp, flashlight, signaling device and reading light.
The only thing that I think would make it more versatile, is if it supported charging another device via the usb c port. Then it would work as a backup battery as well.

I’ve been in construction for well over 20yrs and this is by far one of the best purchases I’ve made. Knowing that I can be seen in the early morning or late nights eases my mind. We also do low lights hunting and having the option an infrared device will help keep us safe.

Versatile, bright, USB C charging, intuitive interface.
Traffic incidents are a major contributor to line of duty deaths and life changing disability among first responders. This is a device that I would love to see as standard equipment for first responders. This works well as a general purpose light, but excels as a personal beacon.
The light can be dimmed so it doesn’t blind people and is very useful in lighting confined spaces.
I am a volunteer firefighter and it is always with me now. We use a green light to show we are responding to a call when driving our personal vehicles. This light also serves well in that capacity and the fact that it operates while charging means it is always ready to go.
I would love to see some additional mounting options, but the mounting screw holes on the back have allowed me to make some of my own. (secures to seat belt and slides freely with the buckle, super handy for my smaller version that stays in my truck)
