Plenty of friction in the grip, but it could hold a bit tighter, best to clamp on thinner things like clothing

Allows precise placement on body armor, and no concerns of it falling off, even in ugly situations. Be aware, when the light clips in, it is into 4 fixed positions relative to the clip.

The clip is strong however one side has aggressive teeth the other side is smooth. This allows the clip to slide off.
